RCIA at the Basilica

- Are you a baptized Catholic but have never been confirmed or received First Eucharist?
- Are you curious about some aspects of our faith or our tradition?
Then the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) might be for you! The RCIA is the process through which individuals are fully initiated into the Catholic Church.
Our formal instruction program begins in September. We meet every Monday evening beginning from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Catholic Center, 320 Cathedral Street, diagonally across the street from the Basilica. Each session will focus on the beliefs of Christianity and Catholicism and are designed to give you the education and support you will need to make an informed decision to become Catholic. If you complete the program, you will be baptized/ received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, the Saturday night before Easter.If you are unbaptized, baptized in another Christian denomination, baptized Catholic without celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and/or Eucharist, and if you are interested in becoming a member of, or completing your initiation into the Roman Catholic Church, you are requested to please contact Kathy Wandishin in the parish office at 410-727-3565 X 220 or by email: email@example.com for more information.
